Old Nerds Drinking

The thrilling conclusion of our double sized crossover issue with Jake and Tom from the Jake and Tom Conquer the World Podcast.  We wrap up our review of the last two episodes of The Mandalorian and then go over some of the upcoming projects Disney announced at their December shareholders meeting.

Recorded in the late days of 2020 Old Nerds Drinking teamed up with Jake and Tom of the Jake and Tom Conquer the World podcast to do a massively nerdy deep dive into the Mandalorian Season 2.  We break down all of the episodes and then go into some of the bombshell upcoming Star Wars Projects that were announced at the Disney Shareholder Meeting.  In this episode we manage to make it through the first six chapters of this season.  Look forward to Part 2 of this crossover next week.

Well we crawled out of our Thanksgiving food comas to drink some drinks, talk a little bit about Prohibition, and the holidays in a time of Covid. A tribute to two celebrities of the nerd world that we lost recently and a rambling discussion on the Zen of Vinyl Records.  The conversation took some big twists and turns.  As an added bonus this episode you get to hear my professional recording voice over from the edit suite instead of my normal excited man-child voice and we also suffer our first random "Cat"astrophe.  As all ways links to articles we mention and other information can be found here in the show notes.

Issue number 2 where we reminisce about Halloween and completely spoil the first episode of season two of the Madalorian.  This was a huge episode.  At the end you will hear me mention the raw record was two hours so half of that ended up on the cutting room floor to possibly be used at a later date.  There are some thing we mentioned but were edited out that you can check out here in the show notes.
